Out School Hours Care
Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service is an integral part of Ngutu College, aligned with our values and beliefs to ensure consistency and continuity for our children.

A Nurturing Space

We offer a supportive and engaging environment with a low educator-to-child ratio, and specialised care for children with additional support needs. Many of our OSHC educators are also Ngutu College staff, helping to promote continuity of care and strong, familiar relationships with the children.

Places in our OSHC service are limited, so we encourage families to register their interest early.

Eligibility
OSHC is available to children enrolled at Ngutu College, from Kindy to 13 years old. Your child must be currently enrolled at Ngutu College to access the service.

Operating Hours

Term time:

Before School Care Monday–Friday 7:00am–9:00am
After School Care Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:15pm–6:00pm
After School Care Wednesday 2:30pm–6:00pm

Vacation Care & child-free days:
7:00am–6:00pm

Public Holidays:
Our OSHC service is closed on public holidays.

We would like to acknowledge that Ngutu College has been developed on Kaurna Country and in doing so, we honour the Kaurna people as the custodians of the land and the Elders – past, present and emerging, who are the custodians of the culture, education system and philosophy upon which the College has been founded.

Kaurna Land spans from Crystal Brook in the north. Cape Jervois in the south, the Adelaide hills in the east and waters in the west. Kaurna land borders Nukunu, Ngarrindjeri, Peramangk, Narungga and Ngadjuri. The term ‘Kaurna’ likely finds it’s roots from the neighbouring Ramindjeri/Ngarrindjeri language, showing the closeness between Aboriginal lands.
