Admission Process
Step 1: Learn more about Ngutu College
Visit our website and Facebook page to learn more about the College. If you have any questions, email us at admissions@ngutucollege.org.au.
Families with young children may like to consider attending our playgroup.
Tours are currently available for the following year levels. If you are considering an application for these year levels, we strongly encourage you to book in as soon as possible:
- Kindergarten (2027 and beyond) – Book a Kindy Tour
- Year 7 (2027 and beyond) – Book a Year 7 Tour
Step 2: Complete an Application Form
While many year levels are currently at capacity, we welcome applications across the College at any stage. If you are considering submitting an application:
- Submit a separate application form for each child or young person.
- Apply as early as possible, ideally by March 31 of the year prior to intended commencement to increase the likelihood of an offer being made, especially for Kindergarten.
- Applications are currently open for all year levels, Kindergarten to Year 12 (2026 and beyond).
- Once your application form is received, we’ll send a follow-up email with next steps.

Step 3: Offer of Enrolment
Formal offers will be made in late April and late September for enrolments starting the following year.
Notifications will also be sent if we cannot offer a placement.
Where an offer is made, families will then be asked to complete a detailed Enrolment Form with up-to-date details, payment of an enrolment deposit (which may be negotiated) and provide documentation of full vaccination for Kindergarten entry. Where the child is in the care of two parents/carers, both are required to sign the enrolment form.
Book a Tour of Ngutu College
If you are interested in enrolment for your child, please book into a Family Tour.
Enquire
If there are no tour dates currently available, please submit an enquiry to indicate your interest.
Entry and Places Available
Ngutu College offers enrolment from Kindergarten to Year 10. Applications for Year 11 (2025) and Year 12 (2026) are considered expressions of interest. Our main entry point is Kindergarten, with limited places available in other year levels, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We recommend submitting applications early, as each year level is capped at 25 students.
To find out what year your child is eligible to start school, visit School Start Calculator.
*Pre-school is the equivalent of Kindergarten. Please note that whilst an enrolment process may appear simple, the factors affecting whether or not an offer is made weigh up numerous factors. The College has enrolment caps at each year level and across our class groups. We need to ensure that our enrolment targets are met as priority and that balance is maintained across our groups. Please refer to our Enrolment Policy and Fee Policy.
